Hi there! I’m Abby, a follower of Jesus, author of two books (with more stories on the way!), avid reader, and overall cozy hobby enthusiast.

I initially started this Substack to share my monthly author newsletter, but lately, I’ve been longing to build community. I love connecting with people, especially fellow writers, but thanks to confusing algorithms that seemingly make it harder to reach others, I’ve found it incredibly difficult to connect online like I used to. In shifting my focus here, my hope is to build a community of storytellers to chat about all things writing, who support one another, and cheer each other on in their bookish endeavors.

So, if you’re a writer who’s feeling a bit lonely or disconnected, welcome! Feel free to kick up your feet and stay a while.

Who am I?

I’m Abby Peek, author of two heartfelt contemporary young adult novels—The Cracks That Form Us and The Paths We Carve—that feature emotional plotlines and sweet romance. My hope is to honor God with my writing and help my readers feel seen, understood, and loved through my stories.

When I’m not reading or writing, you can find her snuggling with my two cats, working on a puzzle, playing all kinds of games with her family and friends, wandering through a museum, or watching reality TV.
